Shell has announced price hike on all its products from March 25, 2011 - this applies to industrial as well as automotive lubricants. HPCL price hike effective from April 13 th. Due to increase in base oil prices, wars in the oil-rich middle-east (esp. Libya), inflation in general and rising raw material prices all major and non-major oil companies have revised their prices in Q1 2011. 

Asian Paints has intimated all its distributors of a price hike of about 10-20% across all its product ranges due to an increase in the cost of raw materials (Titanium di oxide and other). We encourage all our clients to book their orders as soon as possible. The announced hike is effective January 15, 2011 but there may be 2-3 days leeway that the company offers. In any circumstance, we encourage all pending orders to be booked by Jan 18, 2011 at the earliest to take benefit of the cheap prices before they go up!
